Honorable Shri Babu Lal Sharma Ji is a living embodiment of sacrifice, dedication, simplicity and noble ideals. Through his distinguished contributions to the field of education, he has not only fulfilled his social responsibilities with unwavering commitment but has also played a significant role in the promotion and development of education through both government and private educational institutions.
My association with him began with what appeared to be an ordinary telephone conversation. Little did I know that this single dialogue would mark the beginning of a profound intellectual and philosophical journey. On one side was a consciousness rooted in self-observation and introspection; on the other, a mind deeply committed to reason, logic and meaningful dialogue. The convergence of these two streams of thought laid the foundation of a relationship built upon mutual respect, intellectual companionship, and eventually the sacred bond of a teacher and disciple.
The continuous exchange of ideas between us opened an entirely new philosophical horizon in my life. It inspired the beginning of an ideal journey of consciousness and an integrated philosophical quest, which gradually evolved into the conceptual foundation of my proposed five-book series. Today, I can confidently say that the philosophical framework of these works owes its origin to that very first conversation. Indeed, a single phone call became the cornerstone of the proposed philosophy of Sakshi Yoga.
Throughout this journey, I had the privilege of closely witnessing his logical clarity, intellectual depth, humility, generosity and his sincere commitment to the growth and upliftment of others. Over time, I was blessed with his affection, trust, and guidance and I consider it one of the greatest honors of my life to call myself his disciple.
This has been far more than a pleasant experience; it has been one of the most meaningful, transformative, and inspiring blessings of my life. In the end, I can only say that my gratitude towards him transcends the limits of language. There are certain debts of the heart that can never truly be repaid with words – they can only be acknowledged with reverence and lived through one’s actions.
With profound respect,
